Limonella

The call of the moon
She lay in bed waiting, wondering at the glow in her room
The air was alive, a serene magical quality she couldn’t name, but she felt calmed and safe, like being held gently wrapped in grandma quilt
The light became more insistent as the Moon gracefully slid across the night sky, her generous smile shining on those who chose to see her
She felt herself drawn into the light, sitting up quietly in bed she peeked out of the curtain for a better look
Now she is silently padding down the hallway, easing open the back door and standing on the grass, completely absorbed in the silvery light
She felt pulled, coaxed forward
She looked around, there was nothing there
But she felt a nudge,
The air shimmered around her,
She feet could feel a step, but she knew there was nothing there
The light was bolder, shining directly on her know
Her body wanted to move forward, her heart was begging her to take the step
But she looked down and saw nothing. How could she take a step? What would happen if she took that step? What if she fell down? What happened after the first step? Who is she when she takes that step? Who does she become when she take the next step?
The moon glowed, she understood this woman’s hestitation. She had watched it before
The world had lost so much magic and belief, so many had lost their inner listening, lost their wild. Taking that first step back into magic, dropping the bags of information and requirement, allowing innocence to flood back in, receiving pure love and living simply with the earth is daunting.
But Moon knew She needed this. Knew she wanted this. She just need to trust herself and believe again
The moonlight shivered into a step at her feet
The air was warm and glowing with expectancy
She looked again. There was nothing under the step. There was nothing after the step. She believed in science and facts and things you can touch. Reality. Right?
Her body was moving
Her heart opening and flooding with love
She lifted her right foot, gently setting it down
She received the love and light fall
The air was glowing now, another step appeared
She inhaled and took that next step
Then another
She was glowing now
The moonbeam received her
